Meditations Stool
This is a Meditation Stool made out of a panel of listed Oak.
Inspired by Arnaldo’s experience as meditation practicant, this Meditation Stool helps to find a comfortable position while kneeling down. For those who practice meditation and, for personal conditions, struggles to find the correct posture enhance the balance and the relaxation of the all body.
Here Arnaldo and Giulia combine and juxtapose the organic shape and the texture of the Oak Panel with a specific focus on the ergonomic . The natural value of the Oak Panel has been emphasized with fine handmade -sanding finishing layer of natural oil.
The Meditation Stool seating board is 31 cm x 21.5 cm (x 1.8 cm thick).
The foot is available in two different size:

This is a Console made in Solid Pippy Oak and powder coated mild steel blades.
Here Arnaldo and Stefano combine and juxtapose the organic shape and the texture of the timber board with the more rigid and artificial shape of the metal blades. The natural value of the timber has been emphasised colouring the edge in black, establishing a bidirectional dialogue between the curved line of the board and the straight lines of the blades.
The shapes of the blades are here more complex then in the “vertical” solution to stretch the horizontal dimension.
The console is 145 cm long and circa 22 cm in the widest point and a variable thickness of 25/30mm.
Metal blades are 3mm thick.
